Much Ado About RSS
The RSS (Really Simple Syndication) format enables one to track news
websites, blogs and other online phenomena with the help of a
newsreader. Bob Stepno describes several kinds of software available for
the PC

while an O'Reilly Network article considers those that work for the Mac
. In the
library world, Gerry McKiernan of Iowa State has compiled two resources:
one enumerates the many applications of RSS for libraries
(), while another
provides a subject listing to journals which feature RSS feeds.
