Apple's newest OS, version 10.4, is due to be released today. David
Pogue gives an overview of its features, which include a sophisticated
desktop search engine, browser support for RSS (Safari), the Dashboard
which launches all sorts of applets at a click of a key, and enhanced
security, among others.
